EARTH DAY CELEBRATION 2009!
Miller Environmental Group, Inc. is pleased to have been a sponsor and exhibitor for the 3rd year in a row for Suffolk County Parks Foundation, Inc. Earth Day 2009 which was held Sunday April 19, 2009 at Indian Island County Parks in Riverhead, NY. Earth Day 2009 was a free event which included interactive exhibits, nature walks, beach grass planting, live entertainment, trail clean-ups, marine life exhibits, and activities for kids, face painting, demonstrations and more!
Miller Environmental Group provided an exhibit displaying Alternative Energy solutions, eco-friendly craft for children and MEG's emergency wildlife rehabilitation unit. MEG provided visitors with informative handouts, discussions and photos of Geothermal and Alternative Energy solutions. Geothermal heat exchange is a great way to save long term energy costs for the heating / cooling of homes, and business; along with a great way to reduce green house emissions that are causing global warming.
