Marine Based Equipment

The equipment characterized on this page is maintained in accordance with our US Coast Guard (USCG) Oil Spill Removal (OSRO) Classification. MEG needs to ensure by contract that we have the resources including Personnel, Vessels, Containment Boom, Oil Skimming Equipment, Hydraulic Power Packs, Pumping Equipment, Temporary Storage, and Vacuum Equipment. Our customer base is highly regulated by both the USCG and the US EPA to ensure that the resources that have been contracted are ready to perform in the event of an oil spill. For this reason, MEG maintains a substantial amount of equipment that has a very low day-to-day utilization, however, it is ready when called upon to perform.
