System Technician / CDL Driver

Actively seeking System Technicians. CDL A or B Licenses preferred but not required. If you have experience in a relatable field, are hands-on, and can handle labor-intensive work, then Apply Today!

Requirements:

  • Knowledge of the installation and troubleshooting of pumps/pump control systems including low pressure circulators, submersible pumps, VFD controllers, low voltage control systems
  • Ground water well system knowledge, installation and troubleshooting preferred but not required
  • At least 1 year experience in a relatable field
    • Relatable experience – but not limited to: environmental, carpentry, electrical, plumbing, mechanical, roofing, installation, or anything that’s “hands-on”
  • CDL Class B license preferred but not required
  • Willing and able to be available on-call 24/7
  • Willing to travel 10-15% of the time between 8 offices or spill sites for emergencies/equipment delivery

Responsibilities:

  • Cleaning and decontamination of regulated materials from spills, trenches, drains, oil/water separators, boilers, tanks and other industrial cleaning applications.
  • Installation of plumbing/ piping and control systems as directed and shown with drawings
  • The ability to work weekends and extended hours as needed.
  • On Call availability for scheduled rotation and emergencies
  • Will run, maintain and troubleshoot motors, pumps, chainsaws, generators, outboard motors, air compressors, asphalt cutters and other small power tools.
  • Responsible for the safe operation of utility trucks, box trucks, roll-off trucks, vacuum trucks, guzzlers and other vehicles of the trade consistent with the proper licenses.
  • Prompt attendance on job assignments which may encompass early and after hours start times.
  • Ability to properly fill out daily job sheets and waste manifests.
  • Ability to read and understand OSHA safety regulations and perform all tasks safely.
  • Maintain up to date training and education for licenses, permits and regulatory information specific to responsibilities.
  • Individuals must be pro-active self-starters who can work safely in crews of 2-10 and follow chain of command structure, with guidance and orders dictated by supervisors and foreman.
